TRAVEL: VIVERE AZURE

We were fortunate enough to have a “benefactor” for this stay in Vivere Azure in Anilao, Batangas last June 5th to 6th. Fortunate because there is no way we’ll be spending P6,800 per head (for myself and sweetie, and 50% for kuya ken, kids 5 years old and below – alex and trix – are free of charge) for an overnight summer getaway. :p

Though may be a bit pricey (heard though that the rates we got are already “discounted”), the service you get from the Vivere staff – and the buffet! unlimited bacon strips for breakfast! – more than makes up for what you’ll be shelling out (but still I feel like saying, “dapat lang noh!”).

Vivere Azure is a sister-company of Vivere Hotel in Alabang. Hence (i’m assuming), the infinity pool.

And when I say “atop”, I mean you should brace yourself for the long and tiring way up the pool and your car, so make sure you don’t forget anything in your car or make the most of your time in the pool as you may not want to go back up any time soon once you’ve gone back to your room.

Don’t worry though because Vivere was thoughtful enough to place benches for stopovers.

Anilao is famous for its enchanted diving sites. Its beaches are unlike Boracay’s so do not forget to tote a pair of swim boots. Though if you don’t own one, Vivere offers free use of diving and snorkelling gears!

The cloudy afternoon didn’t give me a delightful view of the sunset. So i had to make do with this.

Rafts tied to the shore are very useful for sunbathing on sea and feeding the schools of fish.

Vivere Azure, I reckon, is a perfect place for honeymooners or a group of friends who’s into snorkelling and diving. I attest that it’s not so much for families with kids who can’t swim yet, sayang the bayad…you’ll be more stressed than relaxed. hehe… but i did have fun, knowing my kids had a great time.
